The USA Under A Totolitarian Government
I don't want to be a fear monger because I hate that, but one must also be a little realistic to protect our Country and its democratic way of life. Historians tell us that most democracies only last 200+ years. The basis of a democracy is that the people run their country and the government allows that to happen. As the people forget that axiom and keep asking the Government for more and more, the elected officials provide it. How often have you heard people say "The government needs to ------"? That leads to Socialism which leads to Communism which is a totolitarian form of government (generally headed by a dictator). The USA, in my opinion is on the verge of becoming totolitarian because for many years the people have been asking for more and more and the government keeps getting bigger and more powerful. They now measure their budget in trillions of dollars. All it will take is a person elected to President who believes in a totlitarian state and by golly, we are there! I am in absolute terror that my heirs will live in such a state if Hillary is elected. If you do not believe that democracies can turn totolitarian all you have to do is study the number of democracies that have become dictatorships. It happens more often than we realize. Hillary may get us there! Don't let it happen!
